Your questions. Your choice

Conversations

Chat conversations are private by default. We store your questions, generated answers and their citations to provide history. A guest session uses an HttpOnly cookie, valid for up to 14 days. Signing in with Google associates your current guest conversations with your account so you can access them across devices. Existing private-preview conversations are not published.

Questions submitted for articles

The article-request form separately asks you to agree that its question and resulting article may be published. Drafts remain private until an editor publishes them. Do not include personal or confidential details in article requests.

Processing and measurement

Questions and the relevant source passages are sent to Anthropic to generate answers or article drafts. Vercel hosts the application and Neon stores its data. Google sign-in supplies a verified identifier and email; we do not request access to your contacts, mail or Drive. When enabled, Google Analytics measures public page use; chat text, invitation tokens and URL query strings are not sent as analytics events. Administrative and evaluation pages are excluded.

Abuse prevention

We store a keyed hash of the network address used to create guest sessions for rate limiting. We do not store the raw address in the application’s visitor records. Hosting and model providers may maintain their own operational logs.

Retention and requests

Session expiry does not automatically erase stored conversations. You can request deletion or correction through the site operator at darius.cheung@gmail.com. Please identify the relevant account or public article without sending sensitive information. There is no advertising or sale of conversation data in this release.
